USCC Factsheet

The Cascade Compost Quality Assurance Program includes third-party laboratory testing on a regular bases. Washington State regulations also require specific annual testing based on the quantity of materials being manufactured. We take part in additional voluntary testing, too and we always make sure that our standards are in compliance with U.S. Composting Council Seal of Testing Assurance program. In fact, USCC Seal of Testing Assurance testing is performed in every batch of compost we make.

Fall Garden Tips
Fall is officially here. We had a beautiful summer with gorgeous weather following us into fall. Now it’s time to get your landscape ready for fall & winter.

Dividing perennials. Now is a great time to divide your perennials that have gotten too big. It is relatively easy task. Dig up your plant and divide either in 2 or 4 sections. Make sure you get a part of the mother plant and some roots. Replant in your garden or give away to gardening buddy. Always use compost when replanting the divided section. Mix it in with existing soil and water in.
